Mission Statement

I offer a warm and empathetic environment where we will focus on your goals and needs. I view the client as the expert of their life. As we build rapport and establish your counseling goals, I will gently challenge you to get where you want to go. Sessions are goal oriented and directive.

My hope is to help clients in weekly or every other week sessions, and as they see progress drop down to fewer sessions until they "graduate". Different seasons of life bring new challenges, and I always encourage clients to come back as needed.

My Approach

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a structured, goal-oriented form of talk therapy. By understanding how thoughts, feelings, and actions interact, individuals learn to replace harmful habits with healthier coping skills, effectively treating conditions like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Together we will work to reframe, challenge and adjust thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing helps clients process difficult experiences and desensitize your body to the triggering event(s).

I use "buzzers" in session. They alternate stimulation between your left and right hands, creating bilateral stimulation. Please watch the video below for more information:
